About Me

From a young age, I've felt a strong desire to serve others. This calling was largely influenced by my admiration for past generations of Americans, especially those who bravely served during the Second World War. When the towers fell on 9/11 during my senior year of high school, I felt an overwhelming urge to answer our nation’s call.


Military Service

I enlisted in the Army as an infantryman in the celebrated 101st ABN Division and less than a year after graduating from high school, I deployed overseas.  After being injured in Iraq, I came home and had the incredible opportunity to attend West Point and become an officer.  I started in 2006 and commissioned as an infantry officer in 2010.  Shortly thereafter, I attended the Army’s Ranger School and deployed again, this time to southern Afghanistan.


Education & Private Sector

After dedicating 12 years to active-duty service, I transitioned from the Army and was fortunate to attend Harvard Business School, where I pursued an MBA. It was during this phase at Harvard that my passion for entrepreneurship ignited. Rather than embarking on a journey to Wall Street, I chose the path of small business, initially serving as the COO and later stepping into the CEO role of a small company. Under our combined leadership, the company's equity value grew by 10x over a span of just four years, culminating in a successful acquisition by a  strategic buyer in 2022.
